This lovely dining table is perfect for a small space where you want to optimize seating. Made from reclaimed butternut the dimensions are 60" long, 39" wide and 30" tall. Frame features tapered legs with a 4 1/2" frame that is broken at the bottom edge with a 45 degree bevel. The top is two boards from the same tree, over 11" wide each. These were cut in half and then matched back together to provide a long and wide table using only four boards. The top boards are joined together using pegs and a traditional butt joint. Legs are fitted to frame using mortise and tenon joinery with wood pegs to fit them together. Top is joined to frame using best quality wood screws that are countersunk and then overfilled with walnut pegs. Piece is stained using my own hand mixed colors and then three coats of hand rubbed oil/poly finish and a final coat of hard paste wax. Shipped from Minneapolis MN, delivery available from me to a 250 mile radius. Item can be made to ay length or width and in any woods I work with - butternut, cherry, walnut and ash are particular favorites. Prices vary depending on wood and final dimensions. I can add drawers - $150 per drawer - $250 for two drawers.
